Abbreviation Short message (or messaging) service, a system that enables cellular phone users to send and receive text messages.

Noun A text message that is sent or received using SMS.

Verb Send someone a text message using SMS. you can use this as far as you want but if you go out the country it might cost more, it depends how good your signal is.

MMS

Multimedia Messaging Service, a system that enables cellular phones to send and receive pictures and sound clips as well as text messages. you can use this how far you want unless your out the country and it will cost more.

3G

(of telephone technology) Third-generation. If you have mobile data it is called 3G and this is were you can go on the internet when your not connected to WIFI. you can use 3G how far you want it just depends on the mass.
